Intended use
The Qeridoo is designed as a bike trailer and is equipped with an additional Buggy Mode and Walker Mode.
The Qeridoo is intended exclusively for private transport of one or two children on paved paths and must not be used under competition conditions. Luggage may also be carried in the storage compartments provided, provided the permissible weight is observed and the luggage is safely stowed with even load distribution. Before using the Qeridoo, check which local regulations apply and how the product may be used.
Operation on unpaved terrain, transporting luggage in the passenger compartment, transporting animals, and
commercial use are not permitted. The specified performance limits must always be observed and checked before every use. Children up to a maximum height of 105 cm may be transported. Assemble and use only original accessories and spare parts manufactured or recommended by Qeridoo. The use of other products, as well as any further modification carried out without the manufacturer’s express written approval, excludes liability in the event of accidents and defects.
Improper use
The Qeridoo must not be used for commercial purposes or under competition conditions. Careful riding must always be ensured. Without a jogger wheel, this product is not suitable for jogging or skating. Jogger mode and skater mode are not included in the scope of stroller certification.

Safety and warning instructions
WARNING!
- Keep children away from the Qeridoo during assembly. When handling moving components, make sure you do not pinch your hands or fingers. Ensure that children are out of reach when unfolding and folding the Qeridoo to avoid injuries.
- Packaging materials and protective caps must be removed and disposed of according to the environmental guidelines that apply in your region.
- The recommended tightening torque values can be found at the following link: qeridoo.de/go/drehmomente
- The safety and accident prevention regulations that apply in your region, as well as legal regulations such as road traffic regulations, must also be observed and take precedence in case of doubt. Find out about country-specific regulations and traffic rules if you want to take the Qeridoo on trips abroad. Make sure the Qeridoo is used only by persons suitable for operating it. Users must have read and understood the user manual in full.
- Do not load the trailer beyond the specified maximum weight. Distribute the load evenly. Follow the information in the manual on
loading, permissible total weight, tow bar load range (at tow bar head), and maximum payload. Overloading impairs handling and braking performance and can lead to accidents. - The bicycle’s handling changes significantly when towing a trailer. Ride especially carefully downhill, in curves, and when braking. The attached trailer significantly increases the bicycle’s braking distance. Always maintain a sufficient safety distance. Also follow the information in the manual.
- Assemble and use only original accessories
and spare parts manufactured or recommended by Qeridoo. The use of other products excludes liability. When using accessories, their weight must be deducted from the permissible total weight. The empty weight with installed accessories
plus payload must not exceed the permissible total weight. Also follow the information in the manual. - Observe the specified tow bar load (minimum and maximum tow bar load). The tow bar load is the force acting on the bicycle’s trailer coupler. Also follow the information in the manual for determining the tow bar load.
- The use of a trailer in combination with an e-bike (EPAC) may be restricted or prohibited nationally.
- Buckle the child in with the restraint system during every ride. Make sure the harness fits correctly and all belt buckles are engaged. Before every ride, explain to the children that they must behave appropriately and that releasing the safety harnesses, excessive rocking, or leaning out is strictly prohibited. Get off the bicycle at curbs and pass them only slowly. Only start riding when
all children are properly buckled in and wearing a correctly fitting bicycle helmet. - The inner part of the 3-in-1 canopy must be closed during the ride to protect children from insects and small stones with the integrated insect protection net. To protect against
exhaust fumes, the window foil should also be closed in road traffic. - Only one child may be transported in the one-seater and a maximum of two children in the two-seater. They must be secured with the harness system and wear suitable clothing and a correctly fitting bicycle helmet. In some countries, wearing a helmet is required by law. Balanced load distribution must be ensured. Take the maximum weight and height specifications from the table in the “Performance limits” section of your Qeridoo manual.
- The seat unit is not suitable for children under 6 months. Always use the restraint system.
- Never exceed the maximum child weight per child specified for your model.
- Never leave children unattended in the Qeridoo and make sure they feel comfortable. On longer rides, take regular breaks so the children can move around. Ensure they drink enough fluids. Ensure good ventilation and adapt the children’s clothing to the weather conditions and the temperature inside.
- Do not let the child play with the product.
- Make sure the restraint system is correctly adjusted to the child’s weight and height. Check regularly whether the harness still fits correctly.
- Without a jogger wheel and hand parking brake, this product is not suitable for jogging or skating. With the optional jogger set, the instructions in the corresponding accessory manual apply.
DANGER!
- Before use, check whether the bicycle is suitable for towing a trailer. Follow the bicycle manufacturer’s instructions for use. Using a Qeridoo on bicycles with a carbon rear frame is not recommended. The additional load at the connection between frame and coupler can damage the frame. Towing a trailer with an unsuitable bicycle can lead to loss of control and serious accidents.
- Bike trailers may be used only for the purpose intended by the manufacturer. Any improper use is dangerous and not permitted. Improper use can lead to serious injury or death.
- Always operate and secure the connecting device (coupler) according to the instructions. A connecting device that is not correctly secured can come loose during the ride and cause a serious accident.
- Before every use, make sure all locks are engaged. Also wrap the tow bar safety strap around the tow bar so that it does not hang down in the ready position and cannot get caught on obstacles or drag.
- Before every use on the bicycle, check the coupler connection and make sure the safety strap is attached. Also make sure it cannot get into moving parts of the towing bicycle. Do not use a washer or similar part at the connection point between the bicycle frame and coupler, as this can impair the stability of the connection.
- Attach lighting equipment (e.g. back light, reflectors) correctly to the trailer according to the instructions. Use only suitable lights at the intended attachment points. To operate the back light, follow the enclosed information from the manufacturer. In all operating modes, the back light must be switched on in darkness or poor visibility. In trailer mode, the pennant must also be attached (StVZO). In general, we recommend using the pennant. Failure to comply can lead to serious accidents.
- Before every ride, make sure the Qeridoo is in proper and technically perfect condition. Before first use and regularly during further use, check all screw and split-pin connections for tight fit, especially the tow bar holder, spokes, and thru-axles of the wheels. Also check the connecting device (coupler) for correct fit and flawless function, and check the frame for cracks, deformation, or other damage. Check the safety harnesses and restraint systems for flawless condition and correct function, the lighting equipment and reflectors for complete and correct attachment, and the tires for condition and correct tire pressure. Make sure the folding mechanism is fully engaged. Check all wheels individually before every ride. Check by gently shaking and pulling whether they are securely engaged. They must not come loose by themselves. Also check the functionality of the towing vehicle before every ride.
- Use a safety harness as soon as the child can sit independently.
- Before use, make sure all locks are engaged. Perform a visual inspection and also check, if present, whether the side fixations are closed and the webbing on the back of the seat is tightened.
- Make sure the child is out of reach when unfolding and folding the trailer to avoid injuries.
- Always make sure the parking brake is engaged when placing the child in or taking the child out. Always make sure the parking brake audibly engages when it is activated. If it does not engage fully, the wheels are not securely locked and the Qeridoo can roll away. Any loads attached to the push handle and/or the rear of the backrest and/or the sides impair the stability of the Qeridoo.
