Safety and warning notices
WARNING!
- The safety and accident prevention regulations applicable in your region, as well as legal provisions such as the road traffic regulations (StVO), must additionally be observed and, in case of doubt, take precedence. Also inform yourself about country-specific regulations and traffic rules if you wish to take the Qeridoo on trips abroad. Make sure that the Qeridoo is only used by persons who, as defined below, are suitable for its operation. Users must have fully read and understood this user manual.
- Packaging materials and protective caps must be removed and disposed of in accordance with the environmental guidelines applicable in your region.
- The recommended tightening torques can be found at the following link: qeridoo.de/go/drehmomente
- All information on "Care and Maintenance" must be observed. Corrosion cannot be entirely ruled out. De-icing salts can lead to stress corrosion cracking.
- Never leave the child unattended. Do not let the child play with the product. The Qeridoo is not a toy and must not be misused as such. Accordingly, it is not permitted to coupler the Qeridoo to a children's bicycle.
- Keep children away from the Qeridoo during assembly. When handling moving parts, take care not to pinch your hands and fingers. Before first use, check all screw and split-pin connections for secure fit. Make sure the child is out of reach when unfolding and folding the Qeridoo to avoid injury.
- This seat unit is not suitable for children under 6 months. Always use the restraint system.
- This product is not suitable for jogging or skating without a jogger wheel. The included 14'' jogger wheel enables skating & jogging. The jogger and skater modes are not included in the scope of the stroller certification.
- Always make sure the parking brake is engaged when placing the child in or taking the child out. Any loads attached to the push handle and/or to the back of the backrest and/or to the sides impair the stability of the Qeridoo.
- Only mount and use original accessories and spare parts manufactured or recommended by Qeridoo. The use of other products will result in exclusion of liability.
- Signs of wear may appear at the connection point between the bicycle frame and the coupler. This does not constitute grounds for complaint. Do not use any tool that has previously come into contact with conventional steel. The smallest steel particles could cause contact corrosion.
- For operation of the back light, the manufacturer's information provided must be observed.
- Before use, make sure the brake functions properly. Despite correct assembly, the disc brake may begin to rub. Readjust the brake calipers or have your trusted bicycle workshop help you.
DANGER!
- Before each use, make sure all locks are engaged. Also wrap the safety strap of the tow bar around the tow bar so that, in the standby position, it does not hang down and cannot catch on or drag against obstacles.
- Only one child may be transported in the Kidgoo 1 Pro (one-seater) and a maximum of two children in the Kidgoo 2 Pro (two-seater). They must be secured by the harness system, wear suitable clothing and a bicycle helmet. Ensure balanced load distribution.
- The Qeridoo must not be used after an accident! Even if no damage is visible from the outside, its protective effect may be impaired.
- Before every ride, make sure the Qeridoo is in proper and technically perfect condition. Carry out a visual inspection and pay particular attention to the section "Am I ready to go?". Also check that the side fixation is closed and the webbing straps at the back of the seat system are tightened.
- Always make sure the safety strap is secured before using the Qeridoo in Trailer-mode. In addition, take care that it cannot get into moving parts of the towing bicycle.
- Do not use a washer or similar at the connection point between the bicycle frame and the coupler, as this may impair the stability of the connection.
- Always make sure the parking brake foot lever engages audibly when activated. If it does not fully engage, the wheels are not securely locked and the Qeridoo may roll away.
