SME convinces in innovation competition / More than 100 evaluation criteria assessed / Award ceremony with Ranga Yogeshwar in June
Buchholz, February 2025. Qeridoo GmbH from Buchholz has prevailed at the TOP 100 innovation competition and now carries the TOP 100 seal 2025. The award is presented only to particularly innovative mid-sized companies. Science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar will personally congratulate Qeridoo on this success at the award ceremony on 27 June in Mainz. He has accompanied the TOP 100 innovation competition as mentor.
TOP 100 is based on a scientific selection process
led by innovation researcher Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke. On behalf
of compamedia, the competition organiser, he and his team
analyzed the innovative strength of the participants based on
more than 100 evaluation criteria divided into five categories:
Innovation-friendly top management, innovation climate,
innovative processes and organization, outward orientation / open innovation
and innovation success.
At its core, the TOP 100 analysis
focuses on whether innovations are the result of structured
innovation management within the company – or whether they arise
more by chance (the evaluation criteria can be viewed at
www.top100.de/pruefkriterien). “Innovation means acting
rather than reacting,” says Franke, “it means actively shaping
the future instead of hoping that nothing will change.”
Qeridoo
is once again among the top innovators. The company stands out in the
bicycle trailer industry through a unique combination of
innovation, quality and customer focus. Compared to
other companies, we place particular value on developing high-quality,
safe and versatile products that meet the needs of
modern families. Our bicycle trailers and
child carriers are characterized by innovative technologies,
ergonomic design and well thought-out functionality.
"Innovation
means courage and investment – and the passion to create
solutions that sustainably improve the lives of our customers." Nikolai
Boldt, Managing Director Qeridoo GmbH
To give all participants equal opportunities,
the TOP 100 seal is always awarded in three size categories: up to 50, 51
to 200 and more than 200 employees. In the current round – TOP 100
has been running for 32 years – 364 SMEs applied.
Of these, 262 were successful and have carried the TOP
100 seal 2025 since 1 February. A maximum of 100 companies per size category
can be honoured.
On 27 June all top innovators of the
year 2025 will gather at the Rheingoldhalle in Mainz for the award ceremony as part of
the German Mittelstand Summit. There Ranga Yogeshwar
will personally congratulate them on their TOP 100 success.
