Great for transporting babies: the Qeridoo Hammock Plus
Intended use
This product is intended exclusively for use with Qeridoo products. Check compatibility with your Qeridoo beforehand.
Improper use
This product is not a children’s toy and must not be used as one. Do not use the product on bicycles that are not suitable for pulling trailers.

When using accessories, their weight must be deducted from the payload. The empty weight of the Qeridoo with installed accessories plus maximum payload must not exceed the permissible total weight. According to StVZO (German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations | valid in Germany), a maximum total weight of 40 kg applies to unbraked trailers.
Due to the size and width of the Hammock Plus, it is not possible to transport two Hammocks next to each other in a two-seater. Only one baby insert fits per two-seater.
Safety and warning instructions
WARNING!
- The safety and accident prevention regulations that apply in your region, as well as legal regulations such as road traffic regulations, must also be observed and take priority in case of doubt. Get additional information about country-specific regulations and traffic rules if you want to take the Qeridoo with you when traveling abroad. Make sure the Qeridoo is only used by people who are suitable to operate it as defined below. Users must have read and understood this user manual in full.
- Packaging materials must be removed and disposed of according to the environmental guidelines that apply in your region.
- All information on “Care & Maintenance” must be observed. Corrosion cannot be completely ruled out. De-icing salts can lead to stress corrosion cracking.
- The Hammock is not a children’s toy and must not be misused as one.
DANGER!
- Before every ride, make sure the Qeridoo and the Hammock are in proper and technically perfect condition. Perform a visual inspection and pay particular attention to the “Am I ready to go?” section. Also check whether the side fixation is closed and the webbing is tightened.
- Keep children away during assembly. When handling moving components, make sure you do not pinch your hands or fingers. Before first use, check that all connections are securely seated.
- The Qeridoo and the Hammock must not continue to be used after an accident! Even if no external damage is visible, the protective effect may be impaired.
- Before each use, make sure the unfolding mechanism on the Qeridoo is correctly engaged.
- Always make sure the parking brake on your Qeridoo is engaged to prevent it from rolling away during installation or while buckling in the child.
Care and storage instructions
Care
After each use:
- Clean the Hammock.
- Watch for heavy dirt and remove it as soon as possible.
After heavy soiling:
- Clean the inside and outside of the Hammock thoroughly.
- The Hammock has a removable cover. The cover can be cleaned on a gentle wash cycle or hand-wash program at a maximum of 30° C. Release the clamps from the edge of the Hammock. The cover can then be removed easily.
- The headrest may only be washed by hand, as the fine hooks of the hook-and-loop fastener can be damaged in the washing machine.
- Wipe the shell and the entire cover dry.
When not in use:
- Store the Hammock only in places with a storage temperature ranging from -23 °C to a maximum of 65 °C.
- The Hammock should only be stored when dry.
- The storage location should be dry, well ventilated, and protected from direct sunlight.
- The Kidgoo and Sportrex models can be folded together with the installed Hammock.
Maintenance
Monthly (or every 200 km):
- Check the textile cover, webbing, connecting elements, seats, and safety harnesses for cracks, wear, and missing parts.
- Check the entire Hammock as well as all connectors and fastening components for signs of wear and damage.
Every six months (or every 500 km):
- Clean the Hammock thoroughly.
